It’s natural for you to be eager to start solids but wait till your baby’s head is well supported and your baby is atleast 41/2 or 5 months old.
I started with Nestum rice when my son was 5 months and 2 weeks and continued till he was 6 months old to switch to other foods.
Your pediatrician would advise you with what to give first but later you have to design your own meal plan.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE 6 TO 8 MONTHS FOOD CHART BY CLICKING THE LINK BELOW
INTRODUCE ONE FOOD AT A TIME AND WAIT FOR THREE TO FOUR DAYS ATLEAST TO MOVE ONTO INTRODUCING THE NEXT FOOD.
Give cereals as the cereals are iron fortified and your baby needs iron in his/her daily food portion.you can start giving wheat/oat meal after introducing rice cereal.
